About Sue Evans

Sue Evans began with First State Financial Management (formerly Conservative Financial Services, Inc.) in 1985 when the financial services company was incorporated. Through the years she has worked in and helped develop every department that now makes up the FSFM wealth management company. Serving as President, she is able to manage the business while still enjoying the many client relationships she has developed.

Sue also serves as the trust officer for First State Community Bank. The trust department was developed in 2008 under her leadership. In this role, Sue is able to help families with estate distribution issues that arise after the loss or incapacity of a family member. The trust department can also help with wealth management that some families prefer to have handled professionally.

Her many years of experience in the financial services industry enables Sue to provide support and assistance for the advisory staff, operations staff, and clients for which she continues to assist. She enjoys helping her clients meet their goals and achieve financial success.

Sue conducts many workshops and seminars for clients and customers of the First State Community Bank family. She enjoys teaching others on topics of finance, wealth management, and the need for long-term financial planning.

Over the years Sue has been involved in many organizations promoting women and their abilities. She continues to do mentoring for female students at Mineral Area College and takes a special interest in women’s health issues.

Sue enjoys her family, which includes four grandchildren. She is an avid tennis player and enjoys the benefits of aerobic walking.
